Meet My Team

Jeannette Halina Lucero, Bookkeeper

Jeannette Halina Lucero, a Maui native, built a successful career in hospitality and management, excelling at Hyatt, Marriott, and Embassy Suites, as well as managing restaurants like Bakers Square, Applebee's, and Red Robin. Seeking new challenges, she became a multiple unit manager at HMSHost. During the pandemic, she pursued accounting at UH Maui College successfully completing classes in Principles of Accounting, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Excel, and QuickBooks. She began working as a bookkeeper in February 2021 and was excited to join Plumeria Accounting and Consulting in 2023.

Jeannette enjoys the meticulous nature of bookkeeping, where attention to detail is crucial for accuracy. She is also engaged with the dynamic nature of bookkeeping, as each day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn.

Jeannette and her partner lost their surf shop and food truck in the Lahaina wildfires in August 2023. Eager to recover and determined to rebuild, they pivoted the business to delivering beach equipment and selling online. Jeannette also owns and manages properties in Wisconsin and Maui, while supporting her children’s achievements.

Jeannette finds joy in spending quality time with loved ones, exploring new destinations, and cooking.
